Our Meeting This Last Week
I just wanted to thank everyone who showed up to our meeting this last week once again. We had a record crowd, at least since I’ve been leading the group, and I appreciate each and every one of you. I also want to reiterate that I am looking for feedback on the venue. Management didn’t realize when I said 20 or 30 of my friends, that meant 40+. We had a few hiccups, but they know what to expect now, so it should go smoother next time.
Fallout From State GOP Convention
Here are just a few of the communications that have come out since the MO GOP Convention.
Ryan Johnson Campaign Kickoff
Please join Ryan Johnson on Thursday, May 23rd around 4:30 PM for a small, family-friendly kick-off event on Main Street in Belton! Like all good campaigns pizza is being provided so click the image or button below to register so they know you're coming and how much to order. I’ll see you there!
Mark Your Calendars!
We NEED to send Rick back to Jefferson City to fight for us! He has heard our frustration with the establishment in the GOP, and has been leading the charge to make our priorities the legislative priorities of the MO Senate. Please consider a generous donation, and volunteering your time.
Visiting Friends
Michael Compton came to visit us at our monthly meeting this week, along with Jerry Ellis and Rachel Gifford, the dynamic duo from We The People of Johnson County. They all drove from Johnson county, MO to hob-nob with us deplorables in Cass county. Michael is the mastermind behind the Act For Missouri website, which has quickly become a go-to site for information about what is happening in Missouri grassroots politics. Please check out his site, if you haven’t already, and bookmark it. I have no doubt it will continue to play a big role in getting time sensitive information out to grassroots Republicans across the state.
You can find the We The People of Johnson County Missouri Facebook Group here.
Alex Manford, the Rumble Podcaster responsible for AwakenWithAlex, was on site as well. Not satisfied with “just” being a podcaster, she also leads the Missouri Freedom Foundation: Cass County, which has a Facebook group, and meets periodically to hear from speakers that cover important topics.
Also in attendance, was Erin McGhee, with the Missouri Homeschool Alliance. Interestingly enough, Erin just appeared on AwakenWithAlex with her cohorts, Danielle Dent-Breen, and Cari Rogers. You can find that episode here.
Whew! I’m tired now. I think that covers all the great organizations we had represented Thursday night. If I missed anyone, I promise you it was not intentional, and I will correct it if you will reach out to me!
