June 29th, 2024
Hello, We The People! Apologies for not getting this week’s newsletter out until this evening. I unexpectedly had the opportunity to help a friend knock doors for his campaign today, so I took it. I wish I had more time to offer up to all of the conservative candidates I support. There are only 36 days left until the August 6th primary. Please try to find time in your schedule, even it it’s just a couple hours here and there, to help our conservative candidates canvass, whether it’s door knocking like a boss, or driving so others can do so faster. I’ve said it many times, and I’ll say it again, we will never have the candidates with the most money, because the people we support are not for sale. That means we have to out work the competition if we want to better our chances of winning. Once again, thanks for reading, and hopefully, I’ll see you all at the Conservative Candidate Liberty Forum tomorrow!
Conservative Candidate Liberty Forum
Just in case you’ve been under a rock, and haven’t heard, the Conservative Candidate Liberty Forum is TOMORROW! If you like the idea of having candidates running for statewide races coming here for this type of event, we need to have a good showing to justify them coming all the way out here. Several of these candidates are coming from the other side of the state, and all of them are as busy as it gets, this being the most critical time in the primary season.
Doug Billings, host of The Right Side, will be our Master of Ceremonies, and our speakers will include:
MO Senator Bill Eigel, Candidate for Missouri Governor
MO Senator Denny Hoskins, candidate for MO Secretary of State
MO Senator Rick Brattin, candidate for re-election to Senate District 31
Constitutional Attorney Will Sharf, candidate for MO Attorney General
Franklin County Clerk, Tim Baker, candidate for Lt. Governor.
Business Owner Lori Rook, candidate for State Treasurer.
THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO SUBMIT QUESTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES!!!
Your Personal Data Should Belong To You
Attorney General Griffin is suing Chinese e-commerce company Temu for deceiving Arkansans, illegally accessing their personal information. You can read the press release here.
It baffles me why the US has not codified, either at the state or federal level, that US citizens “own” their personal data, and defined what that data consists of. Instead, we engage in half-measures and political posturing, trying to prosecute foreign governments for “stealing” your private data, while at the same time allowing corporations to collect and sell as much data about you as they want, and doing nothing to companies that have such poor security policies that your data is stolen every day, in many cases for years, with little consequence.
5th Generational Warfare
Awaken With Alex recently did a podcast with Boone Cutler, who co-wrote the Citizen’s Guide to 5th Generation Warfare, which is designed, “to prepare Americans and freedom loving people everywhere for our current global wartime reality that few understand”. These resources are very good information, especially for anyone who is not familiar with just how much the modern battlefield has changed. War has not just gone from tanks to drones. The media (news and social), medical communities, corporations, and even entire economies, have been weaponized against our way of life. Please check it out!

There are three books (currently), all available on Amazon. You can find links below:

Who, How Much, and What Kind?
The banning of foreign land ownership in the state of Missouri is a hot topic this election cycle, and for good reasons, the most obvious being national security. All candidates for MO governor are advocating some form of ban. However, as in most things, the devil is in the details. For example, who is restricted from buying Missouri land? How much land are they restricted from purchasing? What kind of land purchases are restricted?
Only one of the candidates for Missouri Governor has proposed the following:
Missouri should be owned by Missourians.
It should at least be owned by Americans.
There are many in our world that do not have our best interests in mind—looking at you, CHINA!
We must STOP the sale of Missouri Farmland to ALL foreign countries and entities.
We must GET BACK the land that has already been sold to ANY foreign country.
These statements were pulled directly from the proposed Constitutional Amendment page of Bill Eigel’s campaign website (see here), where he calls for all of these things to be added to the Missouri Constitution, and has an active petition going to make that happen. I think the choice is clear.
Shiloh Center Update
Carol Thompson, Executive Director of the Shiloh Center, sent out the following update:
You did it again...
WFL 2024 was an incredible success and we loved seeing old friends and meeting new faces! The lifesaving work at Shiloh Center would not be possible without the faithful support of this community!
Our goal was to raise $40,000. So far $32,184.00 has been donated!
If you would like to help us finish the goal, you can give here:
Approximately 132 walkers participated, and many brought family, friends (and even a few dogs) to walk as well. Thanks to our sponsor, TAMP Enterprises-- a full-line janitorial service, everyone who came out enjoyed Yoder's Kettle Korn, Shivers shaved ice, and WFL t-shirts!
A HUGE thank you to TAMP Enterprises for underwriting all expenses for the 2024 Walk For Life!

Cultural Impact Conference
How often have we discussed in our meetings that the church needs to be more involved in politics if we want to change the culture? So many political issues directly impact the ability of Christians to live out the Gospel in the United States, but so many churches remain silent. In September, right here in Missouri, there will be an event with the stated purpose below:
The Cultural Impact Conference is a call to the church to act decisively to protect the lives of the unborn in the state of Missouri as well as work to win back our culture through political engagement in our local, state, and national governments.
Listen to this brief message from Chris Williams, Senior Pastor of Fellowship Church and President of the Missouri Baptist Convention.
This event is FREE, but you must register here.
