Senator Brattin Responds to Haffner Accusations
A few days ago, Mike Haffner, who is challenging Rick Brattin for the District 31 MO State Senate seat, took to Facebook to accuse Sen. Brattin via video of making false statements about Haffner’s pro-life activity in the MO House.

Shortly thereafter, Senator Brattin posted this rebuttal:
MO AG Candidate Will Scharf Discusses Vetting
During a recent visit to We The People of Johnson County MO, Attorney General candidate Will Scharf made some comments in support of the Republican party vetting potential candidates. You can see them on Rumble here.
Jeff Fletcher is Fine With RINOs in The GOP
Also on the topic of the GOP Vetting candidates, Cass County Clerk, and candidate for Cass County Commissioner, Jeff Fletcher, recently made statements to KCTV 5 critical of vetting:
He said instead of vetting candidates, committees should just come out and support the candidate they want in the office.
“They have that right,” he said. “So, why don’t do that instead of trying to take away from voters?”

The Republican party is a private organization, and can decide who it wants to associate with, or not, any way it chooses. Jeff Fletcher knows this, as do the rest of the county clerks, but they choose to feign ignorance to this fact. His comment about “taking away from voters” is just nonsense, because any candidate the GOP refuses to allow to run on the Republican ticket can simply run as a Democrat or an Independent. Between his comments made to KCTV 5, and previous comments he has made in Cass County Republican Central Committee meetings, he has made it crystal clear that he is opposed to vetting in any form, and he does not think there is a problem with candidates running for office as Republicans who have no intention of governing as such.
If you are not concerned about leftists running as Republicans, and are perfectly fine with the status quo of RINO leadership in the Missouri GOP, please vote for Jeff Fletcher for Cass County Commissioner. If, however, you are like me, and are sick and tired of country club republicans talking a good game at election time, and then governing like they learned everything they know at the Obama School of Economics, vote for Debbie Griggs!
National News Will Become Local News
Generally speaking, Chambers of Commerce (CoCs) are not conservative. In fact, most CoCs are becoming more and more active in pushing liberal agendas, big government policies at all levels, and regulations that benefit specific industries or large companies over small businesses and startups.
In North Dakota, there is grassroots work being done there to eliminate property taxes, and it looks like they are going to have the signatures to get a measure on the ballot. Surprise, surprise, a group that, “includes a broad coalition of 65 groups from chambers of commerce and organizations representing education, energy, agriculture and health care” has been formed to stop them.
Group wants to defeat measure that would end property taxes in North Dakota
Missourians need to pay attention to this, because the tactics that are being used in ND will absolutely be brought here, should Bill Eigel be successful in his run for Governor. We need to expect it, and plan for it.
