The Real Crisis
What happened at the Chiefs super bowl win celebration was a tragedy. Based on media reports (for what those are worth these days), a couple of underage thugs decided it would be good to resolve a dispute with violence in the middle of the celebration. As of Friday morning of this week, one person has died, and 22 are injured, many of them children.
Unfortunately, this is Kansas City. The only difference between this event, and countless others in KC, is the abnormally high number of injured, due to the crowded area. In fact, Thursday night, two more people were killed in Kansas City, and another injured, surpassing the number of dead from the super bowl celebration. Sadly, statistics say there will be more this weekend.
To make matters worse, those who were wounded at Union Station had not even been stabilized yet, when leftist politicians, celebrities, and the Ministry of Truth media outlets began calling for more gun control laws. The old saying, “Never let a crisis go to waste” is scripture to leftists, and they just couldn’t help themselves. Never mind the fact that the perpetrators of this attack are minors, and the guns they used, by most reports, were SBRs (Short Barrel Rifles), which require special permitting from the ATF, even for adults are are legally allowed to possess them. This means they were already in violation of several federal laws. That’s the thing with criminals, they don’t follow laws.
We all know the main reason why liberals and the administrative state want our guns. When the government has all the guns, we become subjects, not citizens. I’ve heard it said that the Second Amendment secures all other rights, and I believe that with all my heart.
So, if the problem isn’t the guns, then what is the problem? Liberals and the administrative state want to focus on guns, not just because they want to take them away, but also because if guns aren’t the problem, the real problem suddenly surfaces, and liberals created it, nurtured it, and still support it.
The “problem” that has produced these mass shooters, as well as most other issues in American culture today is the deconstruction of the Christian faith, and the destruction of the nuclear family.
Government schools teach our children that all life is the result of a cosmic accident, millions of years ago, and human life is the result of random genetic mutation. Life has no intrinsic value, and pregnancy is simply an inconvenience that can be ended with a pill or a procedure, up to and including birth. The United States is evil, and always has been, and even now minorities are kept from achieving all they can be by “institutionalized racism”. Your gender is whatever you feel like at any given moment, and “white privilege” keeps minorities from being anything other than athletes, drug dealers, or gang bangers. Faith is fool’s gold, marriage is a trap, boss women rule, random sex empowers women, Men are less than, fathers are useless, and government is the answer to all of our problems.
This is the culture we now live in. Is it any wonder so many struggle with meaning in life and mental health issues? The apostle Paul understood the vapid existence that comes when there is no hope in Christ.

In an age when the nation, indeed the world, needs the Gospel more than ever before, the American church is largely silent. Regardless of liturgical or denominational differences, most of our churches have become mausoleums, monuments to a faith long since deceased from neglect and malnourishment. Our only hope as a nation is spiritual and social revival. That is the truth of it, friends.

The redemption of the United States will mirror the redemption of its people. If it will not begin in the pulpit, let it begin in the pew. Better yet, let it begin in our homes, our civic centers, our fellowship halls, and our public squares. Share the Gospel. Speak up for the preciousness of life, and the intrinsic value each one of us has in the eyes of God. Speak up about God’s definition of marriage between one man and one woman, and its central role in society as the foundation upon which our nation stands. Speak up to protect our children, the most vulnerable and impressionable among us. Take back the authority and responsibility of educating your children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Lift up your voice, and live intentionally, according to the principles of your faith and the dictates of your conscience.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Presidential Caucus: Two Weeks And Counting
The GOP Presidential Caucus is just two weeks away. On Saturday, March 2nd, Cass county Republicans will meet at the Harrisonville Community Center in the Jefferson room, beginning at 9:00am. Missouri Initiative Petition Reform
Unfortunately, there is nothing to report. Contrary to assurances action would be taken, GOP leadership in the MO Senate has once again done nothing this last week to move this legislation along, putting unborn babies at further risk out of spite, or pride, or perhaps something even more sinister. Caleb Rowden and Cindy O’Laughlin need to hear from all of us, every day if necessary, that we expect them to move IP Reform to the top of their list, and actually conduct the business they were elected to do. No more breaks, or perks, or getting pissy over their precious processes being challenged. It’s time for them to do the right thing, and get IP Reform passed to protect Missouri from the coming storm of garbage Constitutional amendments that are already being prepped.
